Fields of Blood: The Book of War First Printing Errata

These mistakes will be fixed in future print runs.

Back Cover: Order number should be 7005, not 7003.

Page 2: co-designer Jim Murphy was left off of the credits page.

Page 11: Table 2.1: Racial Attitudes; Elves are Friendly toward Humans. Dwarves are Allied with Humans.

Page 11: The Production numbers for the camps are overstated.  They should be 0.25 for a Small Camp, 0.5 for a Medium Camp, and 1 for a Large Camp.

Page 19: Assets; The 50% improvement time to pay-off column should read: "2 Seasons, 1 year, 2 years."

Page 21:  Table 2.6, Permanent Fortifications; the "Effect" column should be eliminated. All fortifications provide cover.

Page 21: Table 2.7, Additional Features; Replace "cover" for "three-quarters cover" for Bastion, Keep, and Aerial Defenses in the Effects column.

Page 21: Footnote (2) on Table 2.7: Additional Features should read "Can be built by Civilized realms."

Page 24: The change in the Production numbers for Nomad's camps lowers the wood elves' production in Foreston West to four (4), and base RPs to 1,000. Their Warlord status increases that to 1,100 RPs.  The total Curwellan production decreases to 6,300 RPs (upkeep stays the same).

Page 39: Realm Actions, Buy Improvement, last line; should read 'the cost of an improvement is listed in its description.' There is an errant apostrophe in 'its.'

Page 40: In the last sentence of the second paragraph, "the half" should be "they halve."  Also, the example under Build Roads is off.  Humans produce four RPs per season from forrest terrain.  Thus, the cost to build a road through that terrain is 500 RPs.

Page 40: The following should be added to the Garrison Population Center action. "A population center can only muster or train a number of troops per season equal to four times its production modifier. Thus, a metropolis can produce or upgrade 20 troops a season; a village can produce or upgrade only four.

Page 56: Scout, Special Abilities; should read "Hide, Search, Survival." The Wilderness Lore ability should be reworded to Survival.

Page 56: The cost of Crusading is too high.  It should be 100 RPs.

Page 67: The following text should be added to the last paragraph under the Facing header. "Flanking normally only happens to units.  A formation may be flanked by two attacking formations of equal size or larger."

Page 89: Casting Time, Example; should read "The casting time is 1 action which means it will take one battle turn."

Page 93: Battle Magic; the new range increment, Very Long, is 80 feet + 100 ft./level in the normal scale of D&D rules.

Page 118: Appendix A: Core Magic;  first paragraph, should read "all spells function exactly as they do in the core rules." There is a stray 0 in the text.

Page 148: Impenetrable Woods; is also a Druidic Realm spell.
