It was during this time that he started working under Mengele and rose in the ranks of the dark covenant. Many were also killed when the war came to an end and the Templars, the Sentinals and other groups began hunting them down to avenge all those that were butchered in the Holocaust. Zeitler took advantage of his association with a Combine cell (the contact listed above) to gain help fleeing Europe. He moved to Argentina and restarted his life as Emilio Obregon, an Argentinian doctor. It was as Dr. Obregon that he was eventually offered a position at a stateside hospital and rose to the rank of Hospital Administrator. Once again he has a readily available source of victims and a secret wing dedicated to their torture. Zeitler learned Spirit Mastery as a purely defensive measure. Anyone that has killed as much as he has will eventually draw the attention of the Grom Reapers, and Zeitler needed a way to defend himself against them. He would never actually try to summon one.
